Pesticide dilution calculator

When a product is sold as a concentrate, you dilute it to the target spray concentration. This tool tells you how much concentrate and how much water to combine for your final tank volume.

How it works

concentrate = final volume × (target % ÷ stock %)

Enter your values to see the result and worked steps.

Example

100 gal · 2% target · 40% stock

Concentrate to add: 5 gal

Water to add: 95 gal

How it's calculated

Concentrate needed = final volume × (target % ÷ stock %), and the rest of the volume is water.

Worked example: to make 100 gallons of a 2% solution from a 40% concentrate, add 100 × (2 ÷ 40) = 5 gallonsof concentrate and 95 gallons of water. Always follow the product label's mixing directions and order.
